Director Hari, who has for the first time joined hands with Dhanush for 'Venghai', says the film will be a complete commercial entertainer, but with a message for the masses.

"The one-line of ‘Venghai’ is that an angry man should not take a sword, but a protector can do so (Kobakkaran aruval yeduthal than thappu, Kavalkaran yeduthal thappillai)," says the filmmaker, who is fresh from the success of 'Singam'.

Saying that Rajkiran is doing a powerful role in his new project, he elaborates: "He is playing Dhaunsh's father, who is responsible and helps his son in all possible ways when there is a trouble. Rajkiran is tailor-made for the role."

On Tamannah, the heroine, Hari says, "We have given a complete image makeover to the actress. For the first time, she will be seen in “paavadai thavani” throughout the movie. In ‘Venghai’, she has got a lot of scope to perform."
