The shooting of ‘Pilla Zamindar’ directed by Ashok G and produced by Dammalapati Srinivasa Rao and S.S. Buchibabu on the banner of Sri Shailendra Movies with Nani, Bindu Madhavi and Haripriya in the lead is in brisk progress.

The director of the film Ashok had won Golden Nandi for directing a children’s film titled ‘Ushodayam’ in 2007. Though he had directed two other movies like ‘Flash News' and 'Akasaramanna’, he failed to get adequate recognition and break in his career.

Now he is coming up with ‘Pilla Zamindar’. The director says, ‘In our film, the hero is a rich guy and he goes to the college only to show his wealth and to spend money like water instead of pursuing education. One fine day, he caught in a deep trouble. How he came out of the trouble had to be seen on the screen. In order to justify this point, we kept a tagline to our film ‘But Conditions Apply’.

Santosh, Ranadheer, Nagineedu, MS Narayana, Rao Ramesh and Viswanath Kasi and others are in the cast. Cinematography is by Sai Sriram and music is by Selva Ganesh.
