Kamal Haasan on his birthday this year received a rather different kind of gift from one of his admirers who is also a painter.

On Sunday Kamal was presented with two canvas paintings by artist Sreedhar which portrayed Kamal in different elements.

The first painting inspired by artist Moritz Von Schwind’s ‘The Violin Player by the Window’ shows Kamal playing the ubiquitous instrument sitting on a window. A ‘Rajapaarvai’ nostalgia.

The other one was painting of a class of students posing for a group photo with their teacher. Here the students are shown as the different characters Kamal played in his fifty years career. And the teacher is ‘Avvai Shanmugi’.

A very unique birthday gift indeed!
