If there is one film whose title itself has generated a lot of expectations this Deepavali, it is obviously 'Va- Quarter Cutting', by husband and wife director duo Pushkar-Gayathri.

Produced by Dhayanidhi Alagiri's Cloud Nine Movies and Y Not Productions, the 'Thamizh Padam' team, this film is a quirky take of happenings that take place in Chennai in a single night.

Say the directors, "Working with Shiva, Lekha Washington and SPB Charan was fun. It would be a treat to watch them on screen as they gelled well with the script. We are optimistic about the film's prospects in the box-office."

Shiva, the protagonist of the film, has penned a song too. He says in his typical style: "It is a serious comedy film and I did more than what my directors wanted me to do. It is now up to the audience to enjoy my performance."
