Sasikumar, who on Tuesday revealed that the title of his next directorial venture is 'Easan', also said that he would play the lead role in a film titled 'Poraali'.

Directing him for the movie is his good friend Samuthirakani, who is playing the role of a police officer in 'Easan'. The relationship between the duo dates back to 'Subramaniapuram' in which Samuthirakani played a negative role.

Needless to say, Sasikumar is one of the protagonists in 'Naadodigal', which was directed by Samuthirakani. "Easan would be the third film for us to work together", Sasikumar informed the media.

On the film, he said, "It is an intense, griping emotional entertainer. We will go on floors next January after the release of ‘Easan’ in December this year. An official announcement will be made soon".
