After a hiatus, actor Udhaya, elder brother of director Vijay of ‘Poi Solla Porom’ and ‘Madraspattinam’ fame, is back on track with renewed vim and vigour. He is currently busy with a handful of films.

The actor, who made his Kollywood debut with ‘Thirunelveli’ in 2000, is currently busy with films such as ‘Poova Thalaiya’ and ‘Ra Ra’, besides a yet-to-be-titled film with his own brother.

“Poova Thalaiya is a racy entertainer by Sanjay Ram, who is a good friend of mine. While ‘Ra Ra’ is a comedy caper, directed by Sandiyan. Santhanam is my companion in this movie”, he says.

On his film with Vijay, Udhaya says: “I am proud to join hands with my brother, as top actors like Vikram are thrilled at working with him. The movie is still in its beginning stages”.
