‘Vamsam’ might have opened to mixed reviews. But this has not stopped its protagonist Arulnidhi from establishing himself as a hero. The young actor is now one of the promising young faces of Tamil cinema.

“The credits should go to director Pandiraj and my father Thamizharasu, who produced Vamsam. It is because of them people are now recognising me wherever I go,” says the grandson of Chief Minister M Karunanidhi.

Saying that he had to face tough times while shooting for ‘Vamsam’, Arulnidhi says, “But I knew everything was good. I am happy now when the audience enjoy each and every scene in the film with applause”.

On his next venture, Arulnidhi says, “some filmmakers have evinced interested to cast me in their movies. Things are still in the pipeline. I will make it official once everything gets finalised.”
