Right from the moment he entered the tinsel town, Suseendran’s dream was to work with maestro Illayaraja, at least in one film. And it has come true with the filmmaker’s forthcoming venture, titled ‘Azhagarsamiyin Kuthirai’.

According to sources close to the ‘Vennila Kabadi Kuzhu’ and ‘Naan Mahaan Alla’ director, he was very particular that the Isaignani should compose music for ‘Azhagarsamiyin Kuthirai’ and succeeded in his ‘mission’ finally.

“He was initially doubtful whether Raja sir would accept to score music for the film. However, impressed by the storyline and the way it was narrated by Suseendran, the maestro expressed his consent to work with him,” sources say.

Produced by Gautham Vasudev Menon’s Photon Factory, ‘Azhagarsamiyin Kuthirai’, based on a novel by noted writer Bhaskar Sakthi, has one of the protagonists of ‘Vennila Kabadi Kuzhu’ opposite Saranya Mohan.
