Tamil super hit movie ‘Madhrasapattanam’ has been dubbed in Telugu.

From the makers of ‘Super Cowboy’, AGS Entertainments, ‘Madhrasu Pattanam’ is a period movie that is set during the India’s independence. The movie is directed by Vijay and has ‘Varudu’ villain Arya as hero and an UK model Amy Jackson as heroine. The movie’s music is composed by GV Prakash.

Talking about the movie, producer Kalpathi S.Aghoram said that before Independence, a major part of South India was called as ‘Madhrasu Pattanam’ with Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh and Karnataka being one state. The movie shows the essence of pre-independent India and a love story inter-woven in it.

In Tamil, the movie was released in 196 centres out of which it is running towards 50 days in 120 centres. A total of Rs 14 crores has been collected so far. The producers are planning to release the movie by the end of August.
