Gautham acquires 'Kalavani' rights

Photon Factory of director Gautham Vasudev Menon and his friend Madan, have acquired the all India remake rights for the just-released Tamil movie 'Kalavani'.

Photon factory had successfully co-produced several hits films in the past like Kamal Haasan starrer 'Vettaiyadu Vilaiyadu', Suriya's 'Khaakha Khaakha', Telugu film 'Gharashana', and 'Pachaikili Muthucharam' featuring Sarath Kumar and Jyothika.

Photon Factory is now 'proud' to announce that they have acquired the rights to remake the movie in all languages (excluding Tamil)... The production house is currently involving in the making of movies including 'Veppam' and 'Nadunisi Naaigal'.

Directed by Sargunam, ‘Kalavani’ features ‘Pasanga’ fame Vimal, Oviya, Ilavarasu and Saranya in lead roles. Music is by S S Kumaran. The movie is about a callous youth and it is set in Thanjavur and its adjoining areas.
