Even as his maiden venture ‘Karuppar Nagaram’ went to floors, director Nataraj Gopi says the film starring Akhil of ‘Valmiki’ fame in the lead role will be an attempt to show on screen, different colours of human beings.

“We have taken enough care to ensure that everything is different as far as ‘Karuppar Nagaram’ is concerned. Akhil has been roped in for the role as we thought he would fit into it well than anyone else,” he says.

Said to be a unique thriller laced with romance and action, the movie is produced by R Sivakumar and M Bala Subramaniam under the banner of Four Brothers Screen. “Other details would be revealed soon,” the director says.

Deva is scoring music to the lyrics of Kabilan while L K Keerthi is handling the camera. Sources say the film, which would shot in some exotic locales in Tamil Nadu, would hit the screens by the end of the year.
