Nadhiya to replace Kushboo

Now that Kushboo has joined the ruling DMK and the ‘Jackpot’ show she was hosting on Jaya TV was stopped, the television channel backed by the main opposition party AIADMK has found a replacement.

If sources are to be believed, Nadhiya, a yesteryear heartthrob quite like Kushboo has been roped in by Jaya TV to continue the show, which was one of the top programmes of the channel and won a few awards too.

Says a source, “Nadhiya, who was initially reluctant to become a TV compere, accepted the offer having in mind the popularity of Jackpot. A formal announcement will be made by the channel very soon.”

Meanwhile, Kushboo, who enrolled herself in the DMK a couple of weeks ago, will make her maiden appearance on a political stage later today. She will address a special meeting at Thiruvanmiyur in Chennai this evening organised to celebrate the birthday of Chief Minister M Karunanidhi. The DMK president will be present at the meeting.
