Harikumar, who acted in films including 'Thoothukudi' and 'Madurai Sambavam' is on a journey to 'Bodinayakanur'. His forthcoming venture is titled 'Bodinayakanur Ganesan'.

To be directed by O Gnanam, the movie is about an angry young man settled in a village. Arundhathi, who is making her debut in 'Veluthu Kattu', plays the heroine.

Gnanam, who had earlier worked with Surya Prakash and Ravi Maria, says, "The movie has a strong storyline. It is earthy, sentimental and reflects the culture and traditions of the land".

Recently a major portion of the movie was shot in Kalandri near Tuticorin in the annual fish catching ceremony. On the day, people from various adjoining localities would come and catch the fish after offering prayers.

Says Gnanam: "The villagers were cooperative and we shot several scenes during the festival. It has come fresh and good". On his part, Harikumar says: "The movie has everything an actor would aspire to do. It has action, romance, sentiment and comedy."
