Remember Vasundhara Iyer, the ‘Vattaram’ girl, who was last seen in S P Jananathan’s ‘Peranmai’, the ‘Jayam’ Ravi starrer. She is now back with a film titled ‘Thenmerku Paruvakatru’.

The movie also marks the comeback of Seenu Ramaswami, who had directed ‘Koodal Nagar’, which had Bharath, Bhavana and Sandhya in lead roles. Popular writer Ajayan Bala is playing an important role in the film

Says Vasundhara, “My aim has always been to make it big in Kollywood. And it is coming true with ‘Thenmerku Paruvakatru’, a film which has an interesting story and a meaty role for me to perform.”

Sources say the movie revolves around the lives of people in Theni and Cumbum areas. “They rely heavily on the wind and the rain it brings. Hence the title and the film would realistically show their lifestyle on screen.”
