Prithviraj who is fresh from his latest super hit 'Pokkiri Raja', will soon start the shoot for his first ever historical titled as 'Veera Puthran'. Directed by P T Kunju Mohammed, 'Veera Puthran' tells the real life stories and freedom struggles of Mohammad Abdul Rahman Sahib.

The director who will make a total retreat from his art house styles will narrate a commercial viable presentation of the famous personality's life, from his early twenties to the age of 45. Based on a story by N P Muhammad, 'Veera Puthran' will also have Jagathy Sreekumar and Siddhique in other prominent roles. M G Radhakrishnan will wield the camera for this flick, which is sure to offer another remarkable chance for Prithvi to live up to a role of prominence.
