The most controversial movie of the late seventies ‘Avalude Ravukal’ is all set to go for a sequel. The movie which presented Seema to the tinsel town was much talked about for its non-conventional narratives.

Directed by I V Sasi, the movie told the story of a call girl named Raji who is finally accepted as a housewife in a traditional family. The sequel will have the protagonist in her forties, now a mother to a 16 year old girl. She is a crorepathy by now with plenty of assets to take care of. Former super model and the year's state award winner Shwetha Menon will come up in the lead role.

Vijayaraghavan, Jagathy Srrekumar, Janardhanan, Mamukoya and Kaviyoor Ponnama will also appear in pivotal roles in this movie scripted by Alleppey Sherif, who had also written the original. The movie will be produced by P H Hameed in the banner of Simha movies. While R K Damodharan will pen the lyrics, Berny Ignatious will handle the music section. The pooja and recording of the movie will be held in June.
