Reminding IndiaGlitz readers that S Ramakrishnan is an author of many books and a dialogue writer for many blockbuster films. And now, he has turned into a lyricist with ‘Padithurai’, a film produced by actor Arya.

Says the film’s director Suga, who is the son of popular orator Nellai Kannan, “We have to thank Illayaraja sir for making Ramakrishnan as a lyric writer. The maestro is also launching Nanjil Naadan, another ace writer, as a lyricist in this movie.”

On the film, he says, “Most of us in Chennai are from small towns where temple tanks and the steps had left some unforgettable memories. Our movie, set in Tirunelveli, throws light on such evergreen moments.”

Heaping laurels on Arya, the director says, “It’s difficult for a filmmaker to get a producer like Arya. The freedom he gives is enormous which in other words makes my responsibility bigger. He is producing the film just because I am his friend. Thanks Arya.”
