The former Prime Minister of India H.D.Deve Gowda has evinced interest in watching the Kannada film Prithvi. The film Prithvi that attacks the mining lobby in Bellary is also politically connected, the rumor mill is pointing. It is learnt that former Chief Minister H D Kumaraswamy is keen on watching the film Prithvi. On May 1 Workers day whether Kumaraswamy is joining his father in watching Prithvi in a private theatre is kept as tight secret.
Puneeth Rajakumar and Parvathi Menon play the lead in Prithvi that is produced by Soorappa Babu and directed by Jacob Verghese.
The Karnataka Chief Minister Dr BS Yediyurappa is also eking out time to watch Aptha Rakshaka the 200th film of Dr Vishnuvaradhan that is super hit running for the 75th day.
