Director ‘Jayam’ Raja has completed the shoot of his forthcoming film ‘Thillalangadi’, which has his younger brother ‘Jayam’ Ravi in the lead role. Produced by their father Editor Mohan, release rights of the movie have been reportedly acquired by Sun Pictures.

A remake of Telugu runaway hit ‘Kick’, the Tamil version has Ravi and Tamannah replacing Ravi Teja and Ileana respectively. The film has Vadivelu doing the role played by Brahmanandam in the original.

Shot in Malaysia and Hyderabad, final schedule of the shooting was recently completed in Chennai with Ravi, Tamannah and Shaam taking part, sources say. “Ravi and Raja are extremely happy about the final output,” they add.

The film which has music score by Yuvan Shankar Raja is currently on the editor’s table, we learn. Prabhu, Santhanam and a long list of prominent faces are there in this movie, which is expected to hit screen after June.
