Director Venkatesh who performed to perfection the mall manager role in ‘Angadi Theru’ has said acting is not his job. Director Dharani who saw ‘Angadi Theru’ was surprised at the brilliant portrayal of the cruel manager by Venkatesh and immediately contacted Venkatesh to do an important role in the Telugu film which Dharani is doing now. Politely refusing the big offer Venkatesh had told Dharani that he did the role only for Vasanthabalan’s story and the social message it carried.

Venkatesh is now busy in directing ‘Vallakottai’ with Action King Arjun. ‘Vallakottai’ is a big budget film and the director is going show some never seen before action scenes with Arjun in the film. To make it perfect Arjun and stunt director Thalapathy Dinesh had gone to Bangkok to get trained in the latest of action skills. After ‘Vallakottai’ Venkatesh will launch ‘Kaval Thurai’. His association with Arun Vijay is so strong that he can start a film with Arun Vijay any time he wants.

This summer is going to be a very special one for Venkatesh as two of his films will hit the theatres. ‘Manja Velu’ and ‘Vaada’ are both high power action films which will prove once again Venkatesh's skills in doing a perfect action entertainer.
