Here is an answer for those wondering the whereabouts of Vishali, the poetess-daughter of legendary lyricist Kannadasan. The multifaceted personality, if sources are to be believed, will do a pivotal role in Kamal Haasan’s ‘Yavarum Kelir’.

“Vishali was approached by director of the film K S Ravikumar to be part of the project. He also learnt to have told Vishali that it was the wish of Kamal to have her in the film. Impressed by the weightage of the role, the poetess expressed her consent,” they say.

To be produced by Udhayanidhi Stalin on Red Giant Movies banner, ‘Yavarum Kelir’ is a comedy caper, sources say and add: “It is a quickie which will go on floors very soon and released by the end of this year. Vishali is currently doing homework to excel in the role.”

A poetess, Vishali proved her mettle in acting in K Balachander’s ‘Vaname Ellai’ and a couple of television serials. She has also hosted a talk show on a popular TV channel some time back, which topped the TRP charts.
