'Vavvaal' ready to bat

Filmmaker Suresh, who directed movies like 'Arasu', 'Gambeeram' and 'Sabari', is ready with his next. Titled 'Vavvaal', the film would have new faces Rahul and Uthra Unni in lead roles.

"Rahul is the son of popular dance master Lalitha Mani while Uthra Unni is from Mollywood. ‘Vavvaal’ is the story of a youngster who is forced to take a different path by the society. Besides action, the script is filled with romance too," sources say.

They add: "After directing mass heroes, Suresh has this time opted for new faces, thanks to the demands of the script. He has zeroed in on Rahul only after convinced by his dancing and histrionic skills."
