Vinay, the Bangalore boy who was the latest chocolate hero in Kollywood misses working in Tamil and Telugu. After rising high with ‘Unnale Unnale’ and ‘Jayam Kondaan’, Vinay had a short fall in ‘Modhi Vilaiyadu’. Probably the audience wanted to see him only in soft and cheeky romantic roles.

Vinay was recently signed for a Hollywood film ‘Dam 999’ in which he will share screen space with Vimala Raman, Rajat Kapur and Ashish Vidyarthi. He is now busy in Kerala shooting for the English film. He was thankful to art director Thotta Tharani, who suggested him to the director.

So will this mainstream Hollywood film take him away from the fast and furious south Indian film industry? No says Vinay. Vinay is open in expressing his love for doing Tamil and Telugu films. He loves the hurry burry of south and will return as soon as possible.

Presently Vinay starrer ‘Nootrukku Nooru’ in Tamil and ‘Veele’ in Telugu are in their final stages for release.
