Director, producer, music director Goverdhan’s ‘Nirdoshi’ is out of the troubled waters. His film titled as ‘Rasagulla’ faced the first slash from Karnataka Film Chamber of Commerce. It was told the title is ‘Sexy’. No way out Goverdhan had to change the title to ‘Nirdoshi’. Goverdhan was surprised when Regional Censor Board’s two lady members after watching the film ‘Nirdoshi’ said 25 minutes have to cut in the film then ‘A’ certificate will be given for three rape scenes, bikini costumes.

Goverdhan went straight to Tribunal in New Delhi. In Delhi a retired High Court judge in the Tribunal (a lady) in the presence of Goverdhan and Bangalore regional censor officer said there is nothing wrong in the film and asked the regional censor board to give ‘U/A’.

Last year December 29 the Tribunal ordered for UA certificate to ‘Nirdoshi’ but regional censor board kept on delaying to give the certificate. According to one sources even after Delhi Tribunal order the regional censor officer consulted for a petition in the High Court but it was turned down. That made the censor officer to give UA on February 12. “After eight months of struggle I got the ‘UA’ certificate” said Goverdhan cursing his fate.

Kulbushan Kharbanda the famous Hindi actor is in a special role in ‘Nirdoshi’. As a director and producer I am ‘Nirdoshi’ (man with no mistakes) but it is actually the hero in the film says Goverdhan.

‘Nirdoshi’ will be dubbed in Telugu, Tamil, Hindi, Malayalam, Bhojpuri, Gujarati languages. Piyush, Kashish, Anjali, Arya, Richa Chadda are in the cast of ‘Nirdoshi’.

‘Nirdoshi’ is a film on protection of nature. Despite of three hot songs, three rape scenes in the film Goverdhan says the film is family viewing one.
