When a movie is a super hit, only the cast and the director receive the appreciation. The work of the technicians, importantly the assistant directors go unnoticed. It’s the assistant directors who slog physically and mentally in getting things done. After struggling for a long time, they get noticed and make a niche for themselves.

Considering this as a challenge, a team of 10 assistant directors have created their own production company called TEAM A D. The team is launching their first movie titled, ‘Maalai Pozhudhin Mayakathil’ to be directed by Narayan who was an assistant to director Mysskin in ‘Anjathey’ and yet to be released ‘Nandalala’. The remaining 9 directors in the team will work as associate directors in the movie.

The movie’s hero and heroine are going to be new faces. The movie is based on incidents that happen in the evening. It is also revealed that the movie will be shot entirely in Chennai in two straight schedules. The team plans to release it in May.
