Actor Prabhu, the producer of Ajith starrer 'Asal', has asked former Union Minister and PMK leader Anbumani Ramadoss to see that his supporters did not create disturbances to film industry.

Replying to a letter by Anbumani urging him to delete 'smoking scenes' in 'Asal', Prabhu, in his letter to the PMK strongman on Wednesday, said: "Our father, Mr Sivaji Ganesan being a socially responsible person has helped our firm go on for more than 50 years. This continues and will do so in future."

"Our film 'Asal' has been seen by the Censor Board and has been given appropriate certification," he said and added: "We had the message 'smoking is injurious to health' in our trailers and in the feature film even before going for Censor."

"We have also done whatever the Censor Board has requested us to do. The star of our film, Mr Ajith Kumar has also incorporated a message in our film to the public about the evils of smoking."

"Like our beloved father, we have been brought up as responsible people and we definitely live by the laws of the land. As you know the film industry is going through turbulent times, we request you as a responsible leader in your own right to see that your people do not create disturbances to our industry," Prabhu added.

"This reply is on behalf of Mr Saran, Mr Ajith and myself. Wishing you many more years of services to the people," he concluded.
