The audio launch function of the film 'Thambikku Indha Ooru', starring Bharath, Sana Khan and Madalsa Sharma in lead roles, was held in Chennai on Friday.

The first copy was released by Sun Pictures chief operating officer Hansraj Saxena and received by a host of celebrities. Directed by Badri, music for the film has been composed by Dharan.

Speaking at the function, filmmaker R K Selvamani called for stronger measures to end the piracy menace. "A common law that can be applied across all over India is needed to put an end to piracy."

"Because, the culprits have now moved to other States and Union Territories to continue their work after the Tamil Nadu government took stringent measures to curb piracy," he said.

Other speakers too echoed him. "We need to take initiatives to end piracy this year," said director Shakthi Chidambaram, whose 'Guru Sishyan' is set to hit screens soon. Others present at the function were Bharath, Vivek, Samuthirakani and Perarasu.
