Now that Udhayanidhi Stalin’s Red Giant Movies has acquired the release rights of ‘Vinnaithandi Varuvaya’, promos of the film are being aired non-stop on television channels run by the Kalaignar Group.

Remember the case was no different when the distribution rights of Goutham Vasudev Menon’s last venture ‘Varanam Aayiram’ was acquired in the eleventh hour by Dhayanidhi Alagiri on behalf of his Cloud Nine Movies.

Adding strength to the trailers of the Silambarasan-Trisha starrer are the scintillating tunes by music maestro A R Rahman and stunning sequels conceputalised by Goutham Menon. The lead pair shares a great chemistry and has an equal share in raising anticipations on the movie.

As per the latest information we have, the final montage song ‘Aaromale…’ was shot recently in Alleppey in the backwaters of Kerala- the director’s favourite song sequence location. Silambarasan and Trisha attended the shoot, we learn.

Expectations were as high as the title right from the day ‘Vinnaithandi Varuvaya’ was announced, since it brings together for the first time music maestro A R Rahman and ace filmmaker Goutham Menon. The film is scheduled for a February release.
