"Movies are made not only to entertain masses but also carry a strong message that can reform society", says director Nanda Periyasamy.

Wielding the megaphone for 'Mathiyosi', a film starring newcomers Harish, Alex, Gopal and Vishak as heroes and Shammu in the female lead, Nanda Periyasamy says, "the movie is about a group of young boys, who leads a happy life until an event that changes all".

P S Sekar Reddy is producing this film under the banner PSSR Films. He had produced 'Ammuvagiya Naan'. Vijay Armstrong is wielding the camera while Guru Kalyan is debuting as music composer.

"The story is quite appropriate to the title. These boys venture to do one thing and change their mind at the last moment". Heaping laurels on his music composer, he says, "Guru Kalyan has a music knowledge. He gave a variety of music to choose from. Snehan's lyrics are apt for them'.

Nanda Periyasamy gave intense training to his artistes for over two months before he ventured to shoot them. "Audience are ready to watch good films. I am confident that 'Mathiyosi' would fulfill their expectations," he says.
