The new film ‘Payanam’ directed by Radha Mohan which brings back Nagarjuna to Tamil after long years is all set to take off. An airport set which forms the pivotal location for the film is ready at Ramoji Rao Film City. The construction of the set which began on December 5 is completed. The producer has spent almost 20% of the films budget for this life like set which has everything a real airport would have – runway, traffic, ATC room, two planes with perfect interiors and all.

The story of ‘Payanam’ movie is about a plane leaving Chennai airport is hijacked and force landed at Tirupathi. The passengers are held hostages by terrorists for gains.

The set was done by art director Kathir who is a favourite of director Hari from ‘Samy’ to ‘Singam’. Now Kathir has also entered the unit of Radha Mohan after ‘Mozhi’ and ‘Abhiyum Naanum’.

The shooting will start in February. But the heroine is still not finalised.
