Even as the countdown has started for the release of Dhanush’s ‘Kutty’, a buzz in film circles is that Ananya of ‘Naadodigal’ fame will act opposite the actor in one of his forthcoming movies.

The film, tentatively titled ‘Seedan’, will be directed by Subramaniam Siva. “The son-in-law of the Superstar and the ‘Yogi’ director are waiting for the release of ‘Kutty’. They would start their next project on seeing the result of the Pongal release,” say sources.

Working with Subramaniam Siva is not new for Dhanush. Both delivered the blockbuster ‘Thiruda Thirudi’ a few years ago and the rapport between the actor and the filmmaker is very good, it is learnt.

‘Seedan’ is expected to be the story of a city-based youth whose life takes twists and turns after a series of incidents. How he overcomes everything with the help of a man whom he thinks as his mentor is the crux, it is said.
