It’s destination Sandalwood for Adharva, son of Murali. For the famed actor in Tamil is now planning to launch his son in mother tongue Kannada.

According to sources in the know, a formal announcement in this regard will be made next week. “The film will be produced by a person very close to Murali and will be directed by a newcomer,” sources say.

Adharva started his journey in Tamil cinema with a film titled ‘Anandam Aarambam’. The project was however put on hold for reasons unknown. He was later roped in for ‘Baana’, a ‘youthful subject’ produced by Sathyajothi Films.

Interestingly, it was the same Sathyajothi banner which made some of the blockbusters starring Murali including ‘Idhayam’. Directed by Kathir, the movie which had Heera opposite Murali created waves in the box office a couple of decades ago.
