The popular actress of 148 films in South India screen charmer Meena is back after marriage in a Kannada film ‘Hendthira Darbar’ opposite gentleman hero cum director Ramesh Aravind. ‘Hendthira Darbar’ has completed the first schedule at Kaushik Studio situated on the outskirts of Bangalore. ‘Hendthira Darbar’ is a remake of Tamil film ‘‘Varavu Ettana Selavu Paththana’

The heroes after marriage and children remain as heroes on silver screen and why not heroines ask the beautiful Meena in a chat with media on the sets of her comeback film. ‘Acting is your decision, I do not come in your profession’ is what Meena husband Vidyasagar had told before she accepted this film. She has got the offers in Tamil, Telugu languages to come back to cinema. I am now mentally prepared to accept films she pointed to a question.

Right from Putnanja opposite V Ravichandran the beautiful actress Meena acted in many Kannada films but her favorite so far is in remake version in Kannada ‘Swathi Muthu’ opposite Sudeep. The last Kannada film Meena acted was ‘My Autograph’ with actor cum director Sudeep.
