We all know Ajith is a racer and is very fond of cars. But the actor denied a luxury car offered to him in France when he was shooting for ‘Asal’, saying that everyone in the team should be treated equal.

“When Ajith was asked to travel by a car specially hired for him, he refused to accept it and said “We all are one team and we should be together. Let me travel with other members of the cast and crew on the bus”. He stuck on to his words till the end of the schedule,” a crew member said.

However, Ajith’s craze for cars became visible one day, the member said and narrated an incident: “A chasing specialist called Patrick was hired to can a stunt sequence for the movie. When he asked Ajith to use a body double for a risky scene, Ajith, without paying heed to his advice, drove the car on his own in lightning speed and stunned everyone.”

The getup in which Ajith appears in the movie was specially designed by a team headed by director Saran, the source said. “Around 50 looks were considered and this one got Ajith’s approval finally.”
