Here comes one more entrant to the Pongal race. He is Dhanush, as his ‘Kutty’ has been confirmed for the harvest festival by its producers the Gemini Film Circuit.

Dhanush-Shriya play lead roles in this Tamil remake of Telugu blockbuster ‘Arya’, which had Allu Arjun as the protagonist. The original version created sensation in the box-office a few years ago.

Mithran Jawahar, who directed Dhanush for ‘Yaaradi Nee Mohini’, has wielded megaphone for ‘Kutty’ too. Interestingly, the duo is now busy remaking another Telugu super hit titled ‘Ready’.

On ‘Kutty’, the director says, “I have made few changes in the script to suit to the taste of Tamil audience. The film will be a perfect package for the entire family. It has got comedy, romance and emotions in a right mix.”
