Arun Vijay gets candid over his role in his all new ‘Maanja Velu’ for IndiaGlitz. Working on back-to-back schedules, and running side-by-side post-production work, the entire unit under Director A Venkatesh is all gearing up for the release of the film. Here is what the actor had to share with us…

“I play 'Velu' in the movie. Velu's character carries a lot of emotions and it is a huge challenge for me, as an actor to play that role towards the climax which also has a suspense for the audience. The entire movie ‘Maanja Velu’ is going to be a visual treat for the mass and class”, revealed the actor when asked about his character in ‘Maanja Velu’.

We also heard that comedy by Santhanam and ‘Ganja’ Karuppu is an extra plus of the film. Music Director Mani Sharma has given five beautiful numbers to the lyrics of Vaali. Looks like two songs have been shot at Bangkok, while the peppy number "Maanja Maanja Velu" was shot in Pollachi with 70 dancers across five different locations. This particular song is set for the pre-climax of the film. The introduction song in the film is being scheduled for shooting at the Temple Town Kumbakonam with 100 dancers and 500 junior artists.
