Under the banner of Boys Studios, Manikandan is producing a film titled ‘Pugaipadam’ in the direction of Rajeshlingam. While ‘Pugaipadam’ is still in its final stage of filming, industry sources say that it will turn sensational after its release, which is planed to be sometime during early 2010.

Sources in the know say that ‘Pugaipadam’ is something out-of-the-box, when we compare it with other movies of its genre. “Pugaipadam is the only film till now that had showed the actual college life and friendship. ‘Pugaipadam’ sans the commercial elements that make the original story artificial,” say the film’s director Rajeshlingam.

“Photograph is something like a magic mirror that takes us to the past. Many love to time-travel by seeing their old photographs and refresh their minds with those beautiful memories of those good old days. Many people live with the past and photographs are the best medium for them. My ‘Pugaipadam’ is a beautiful world of boundless imagination and the real life, which many would relate to their own life,” adds the director.

We have to wait until we see what this ‘Pugaipadam’ has to show us…
