Shaam is making waves in Tollywood ever since ‘Kick’ hit the screens. And now, he will play former Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Rajasekhara Reddy, who died in a chopper crash, in a biopic to be made soon.

Besides, the actor has been roped in to do pivotal roles in two more Telugu films. One of them would be directed by ace director Teja, whose movies are known for creating sensation in Tollywood box-office.

On playing Rajasekhara Reddy, the actor says, “the makers of the film approached me saying that the former Chief Minister was a body-builder in his twenties and tried to join the police force. They said I would fit to the young Reddy role. And I too accepted it gleefully.”

Expressing gratitude to the makers of ‘Kick’, Shaam says, “It is because of the film I am able to get more offers from Telugu cinema. I played an upright police officer in the Ravi Teja starrer.

Interestingly, I am repeating the act in its Tamil version ‘Thillalangadi’, which has ‘Jayam’ Ravi in lead role.”
