While the icing of the cake is being hogged by the lead pair of ‘Kurbaan’ at the moment, there is one person who is waiting silently for his share. The promos of the movie show Vivek Oberoi in blink-and-miss scenes, but the actor seem to have no qualms about it.

One may wonder as to why the actor is being ignored in this over-hyped movie. However, director Rensil D’Silva has got reasons to justify it. He revealed that Vivek is one of the central characters and covers 80 percent of the film. Consequently, almost every scene of his is a dead giveaway of the suspense. When the director explained the situation to Vivek, the actor didn’t make a fuss of it. “He was cool with not being featured in the promos that much. He said to do whatever is right for the film because when the film opens the truth about the extent of his role would be out,” stated D’Silva.

The filmmaker is quite impressed with Vivek’s hard work for the movie. D’Silva said how the actor went on to acquire a true New Yorker’s accent. Said D’Silva: “We had a couple of New Yorkers on the sets to coach him. He’s got the NY accent bang-on. It’s not a borough-specific accent. It’s a general New York twang. And Vivek is superb with it.”
