Top South Indian actress Nayantara is making foray in to Kannada film. In the Kannada cinema dream merchant V Ravichandran film ‘Kichaka’ Nayantara is playing the lead and this is her debut in Kannada.

Actor, director, producer and trailblazer of Kannada cinema V Ravichandran is also roping in Dr Jayapradha for the first in his career spanning two and half decades. Dr Jayapradha is playing an important role in this film produced by Munirathna. Producer Munirathna’s earlier film was ‘Anatharu’ starring Upendra, Darshan, Radhika and Sanghavi. Earlier to this the film ‘Raktha Kanneeru’ of producer Munirathna was a top grosser in the box office. Munirathna had written story for his film ‘Kambalahalli’ and his debut in production was ‘Aunty Preethse’ starring Ramkumar and Kushboo.

The film ‘Kichaka’ has story and screenplay from actor cum director Mohan.
