Padmapriya

“No one can insist me to wear skimpy costumes and to act in steamy scenes just for the sake of pulling more audience to cinema halls,” says Padmapriya.

The actress, who won a State award from the Tamil Nadu government a couple of days ago, is clear that glamour is just a part of a film. “If you fill a movie with glamour, then it will be of no use,” she says.

Meanwhile, Padmapriya is back in Tollywood after a brief break. The girl from Kerala, who is a popular actress in Tamil and Malayalam industries, has signed a new Telugu project, that too with a reputed banner.

If reports are to be believed, the film would have Sharwanand (of 'Kadhalna Summa Illai' fame) opposite the management professional turned actress. The role she is playing in the film is a powerful one, it is also said.

Padmapriya is also acting in a Hindi film opposite Siddharth. “It is a film with a difference. It will take my career graph to further heights,” she believes.
