Now that Trisha has opted out of ‘Aadukalam’, a film directed by Vetrimaran of ‘Polladhavan’ fame with the same Dhanush in the lead, Tapsi, a Delhi-based model has been roped in to fill the gap.

Circles close to the film’s unit say that since the character is of an Anglo Indian girl, Tapsi fits to the bill well. “At last, we have zeroed in on the right person. Shooting will restart soon and will go without any break.”

Trisha reportedly walked out of the project as she was committed to her debut Bollywood project with Akshay Kumar in Priyadarshan’s direction. “She is not too keen to do a realistic film in the heat and dust of Madurai, and the film may take a long time to be completed, which will upset her carefully laid out Bollywood plans” reports said.

However, circles close to the actress denied the allegation and said the makers of the film (Aadukalam) did not use her call sheet and the actress was forced to cool her heels at a Madurai hotel doing nothing for four days, when other scenes were canned.
