Cheers to Dhananjayan of Moser Baer, for making the audio function of ‘Kanden Kadhalai’ into a festival. Yeah, the audio launch function had a novel theme! ‘Celebrating Tamil cinema’ was it’s theme and five gifted directors, namely Vikram Kumar, Samuthirakani, KV Anand , Pandiraj, and Suseendran who made inspirational and successful films were honoured.

Now Moser Baer has come up with another fresh idea of promoting the audio of the movie. Bharath, Tamannah and music director Vidyasagar endorsed the audio of ‘Kanden Kadhalai’ at Odyssey Chennai recently. Moser Baer along with Odyssey organized this event where fans got the CDs of ‘Kanden Kadhalai’ autographed by the celebrities.

Since all the songs in ‘Jab We Met’ were big hits, expectations were high to see what Vidyasagar has done for ‘Kanden Kadhalai’. But after listening to songs, it is sure to strike everyone at the right place. The songs are stunningly different from ‘Jab We Met’ and also mainly catchy. Not just unique instrumentation, but a good choice of singers and perfect harmony is the hallmark of the album.

Vidyasagar’s penchant for melody is evident with “Kattru Pudhithai”, the opening song of the movie. Every song is so special in its own sweet way. Lyrics by Yugabharathi and Na Muthukumar add more strength to the numbers.
