The release rights of ÂNinaithaale InikkumÂ, starring Prithviraj, Shakthi and Priyamani in lead roles, have been acquired by Sun Pictures. Plans are on to release the film in September.
Says the movieÂs director Kumaravelan, ÂRemakes should reflect the culture of the land in which they are being made into. We have carefully remade Malayalam hit ÂClassmates as Ninaithaale Inikkum.Â
ÂThe first thing we ensured when we planned ÂNinaithaale Inikkum was that the story should undergo minor changes to suit the Tamil audience. Lal JoseÂs ÂClassmates set in a college campus had fun, frolic and emotional elements. We have recreated the same in Tamil, he adds.
