Cinema is truly a world of fantasy! You can be anything you desire. Rich, poor, young, old, good, bad – any character! Here’s an interesting bit to base this..

‘Ponnar Sankar’ was launched with a grand ceremony in the city, inviting all the big-wigs in the industry. Our Honorable Chief Minister had graced the occasion, since the movie is based on his popular novel with the same title. The movie includes most of the sparkling stars of the Tamil cine galaxy.

Among them is our ‘Jackpot’ queen Kushboo and popular Malayalam hero Jayaram. In this movie, both will need to play characters half their age! Yes, it is said that the actress plays the role of 16 year old Thamarai Nachiar while Jayaram does a 20 year old character. To achieve the perfect young look, Thyagarajan, the director, has brought in graphics team who had worked behind the popular English flick, ‘The Lord of the Rings’. The US technicians are now busy toning down Kushboo and Jayaram in Chennai studios.

It would be wonderful to see these actors to in a young look. Also, to see this cine couple coming together after long time, who gave few movies together, like ‘Murai Maman’ and ‘Purusha Lakshanam’ for instances.

‘Ponnar Sankar’, is fictional story about two warriors, both played Prashanth and the movie is expected to be wrapped up soon. Too exciting to look forward?
