The cowboy film 'Irumbukottai Murattu Singam', that is being directed by Simbhydevan, is on in full steam. The film, the only one in its genre in three decades in Tamil cinema, is all set to proceed to Nasik when a hectic schedule of shooting beckons. IKMS features Raghava Lawwrence in the lead, with Padmapriya and Lakshmi Rai playing heroines. Sandhya has been roped into the team to play a guest appearance as well. A bevy of stars like Ilavarasu, Mayilsamy, Delhi Ganesh, Nasser and so on form the rest of the cast.
The film, owing to its interesting cowboy subject, is being made on a lavish budget by AGS entertainment, which is now awaiting the release of its Nakul-Sunaina starrer, 'Masilamani'. The first schedule of the movie was shot in Palakkad with set worth over a crore being erected. Following that, another set costing an equal amount was made by art director Muthuraj, resembling a fortress. This set was created in Ambasamuthiram, where shooting was conducted.
From the news gathered of it, looks like another interesting movie like 'Imsai Arasan' is on the cards from Simbhudevan.
