After the highly successful 'Imsai Arasan 23-am Pulikesi' and 'Arai En 305-il Kadavul', director Chimbhu Devan has embarked on a journey to do the first Indian cowboy film after a decade, ÂIrumbu Kottai Murattu Singam (IKMS). Ragava Larencce plays the lead, and Sandhya, Padmapriya and Lakshmi Rai play the heroines.
Produced by Kalpathi Aghoram, the film is set in the eighteenth century and is a complete adventure that will be enjoyable alike to kids and elders. Said to be shot in Chimbhu DevanÂs trademark humourous way, it has a bevy of actors with a funny bone like Nasser, Mouli, Manorama, Ramesh Khanna, Ms Bhaskar, Vyapuri, Delhi Ganesh and Ilavarasu.
Shooting for this film begins this month in Palghat, and will go on for a month, following which the film will also be shot in Thenkasi, Thada and Madhya Pradesh.
The story, screenplay, dialogues and direction for the film have been handled by Chimbhu Devan himself, while Azhagappan has cranked the camera. With music by GV Prakash Kumar, the film has lyrics by Vairamuthu. IKMS is a cowboy film, made after 1972 in that genre in Tamil, after JaishankarÂs Ganga.
