Samiksha, the girl who became popular after Vishnuvardhan's 'Arindhum Ariyamalum' is currently working in a film that is being made simultaneously in English and Hindi. This bilingual film is shot in Canada and will narrate a story about Indians in Canada.

The actress who was recently dropped from two Tamil films 'Rajathi Raja' starring Ragava Larencce and 'Murattu Kaalai' starring Sundar C said she was keen to concentrate in Hindi films. "I don't want to talk about 'Rajathi Raja' and 'Murattu Kaalai'. I am currently focusing on Hindi films. I play a Punjabi girl who goes to work in Canada. All my other co-stars in the film are Canadian Indians. The film is actually about the travails of Indians who live in Canada'.

The actress further added that she would be filming in Canada for a month.

'I have changed my hairstyle for this film. I have cut it short to look appropriate for the character' Samiksha said.
