After making his debut as a full-fledged actor in 'Satrumun Kidaitha Thagaval', noted stunt master Kanal Kannan is all set to play a commercial hero in a movie titled 'Sankaran Koil'.

Announcing this to the media, Kanal Kannan said, "It is a movie which will have humor, action and emotions in the right mix."

The entire movie takes place in 'Sankaran Koil' located in Thirunelveli district. Search is on for the heroine. Nasser and Lal play prominent roles in the film.

With rejuvenated confidence after his first venture Kanal Kannan said, "The good opening attained by 'Sattrumun Kidaitha Thagaval' emboldened me to accept 'Sankaran Koil'. It would have hilarious action and we are trying different things in action blocs bringing state-of-the-art equipments from abroad to shoot."

He is currently working as stunt master in Surya starrer 'Aadhavan', Vijay's 'Vettaikaran' and 'Peranmai'. I want to balance both stunt choreography and acting. They are equally important to me, said the stuntman.

The movie directed by Bhuvanai Kannan will have musical score by debutant Rajni. The shooting begins this month-end and the film will be released on 1st May.
