Mohanbabu, a very popular name in Telugu Cinema actually started off his career in Tamil filmdom around the time Rajinikanth did. In fact both were classmates at the Film Institute in the 1970s. Besides acting, Mohanbabu has also produced and directed several films.

A trusted lieutenant and best friend of Rajinikanth, Mohanbabu will be facing an acid test soon. He is introducing his son Manoj Kumar to Tamil Cinema this weekend through the film 'Ennai Theriyuma'.

'Yennai Theriyuma' is the dubbed version of the Telugu film 'Nenu Meeku Telusa' which had an average outing in Andhra Pradesh.

The film has been directed by Ajay Sastry and features Ria Sen and Sneha Ullal (the Aishwarya Rai look-alike) along with Manoj. Speaking about the film, the director said, 'it is a trendy and gripping movie. I hope the Tamil audience are receptive to the theme'.

Expressing his gratitude to his father, Manoj Kumar said, 'Yennai Theriyuma is the story of a boy-next-door. I am happy to foray into Tamil Cinema with a good script'.

The film has musical score by Dharan and lyrics by Na. Muthukumaran. Cinematography is by Ashok Kumar Raju.
